Sternberger Spirit Wear Swap - Call for Donations!

We are hosting our first ever Spirit Wear Swap on Friday, March 20, 2026 during Spring Fling - our annual ice cream social. 

This is a great opportunity to give your gently used outgrown or unwanted Sternberger apparel a new home. Check out our Spirit Swap Participation Guidelines.

1. There are currently donation boxes in the office and inside the entrances for car and bus riders. 

2. Volunteers will be standing car-side during car rider drop-off to collect your donations on Wednesday, March 4, Thursday, March 5, and Friday, March 6.

3. There will be a place to drop donations at check-in for our Sternberger Under the Sea Winter Dance on Friday, March 6, 2026

New School Groundbreaking

Renderings of our New School!

Clark Nexsen is a multi-location firm of planners, architects, engineers, and interior designers that is working on our new school. 

According to their website "At almost 87,000 square feet, the new Sternberger Elementary School will provide an anticipated 500 students with engaging learning spaces, community-centered areas, and places for play. Partnering with Guilford County School System, our K-12 practice team, working alongside KEi Architects, will deliver a facility that creates a fun and safe learning environment for students while keeping the local community’s values at the heart of the design."
