This is a great opportunity to give your gently used outgrown or unwanted Sternberger apparel a new home and promote our Sternberger community by providing spirit wear for some of our new and younger World Changers.

criteria:
We will take any child or adult size Sternberger & Kiser spirit wear T-shirts and sweatshirts (including Owls on the Run). All items must be clean and freshly washed, gently used (free of stains, holes, excessive wear, or strong odors) and in wearable condition.
We reserve the right to remove items that are damaged, heavily worn, or not school spirit wear.

Make sure your donation meets our Accepted Items Criteria. Donations must be dropped off during the posted collection times. No late drop-offs will be accepted once sorting has begun.
Place your spirit swap items in a paper or plastic bag.
Include your completed Include your completed Donation Form inside the bag if you would like Swap Tickets in exchange for your donated items.
If your items are for donation only and you do not want to participate in the swap, you do not have to include a Donation Form in your bag.
Any donations without a completed Donation Form will be considered for donation only and will not be eligible for swap tickets.
Bring your bag to one of our designated Spirit Swap Drop Off Locations.
Donation boxes will be in the office and inside the car and bus rider entries.
Volunteers will collect donations car-side in the car rider drop-off and pick-up lines on designated day.
Donation Boxes will be at the check-in table on the evening of the Winter Dance.

Families who donate spirit wear will receive Swap Tickets (based on the items donated as recorded on their Donation Form and verified by our Spirit Wear Swap committee) upon check-in at the event.
Swap Tickets may be exchanged for other spirit items available at the event.
Tickets have no cash value and may only be used during the current Spirit Wear Swap.
Kindergarten families and new families who may not yet have spirit wear to donate will have an opportunity to select at least one item from the “Welcome Pool” at no cost, while supplies last.
Spirit wear items and swap tickets will not be available for purchase. This event is designed to promote equity and inclusive participation, especially for kindergarten and new families.

No Guarantees
Participation in the Spirit Swap does not guarantee that families will receive items in their preferred size, color, or style.
Inventory at the event is limited. Available items are based entirely on donations and the time of attendance during the event.
Fair Access
The swap is run on a first-come, first-serve basis during the event.
Families may select up to the number of items they donated. Kindergarten families and new families who may not yet have spirit wear to donate will have an opportunity to select at least one item from the “Welcome Pool” at no cost, while supplies last.
Holding or reserving items in advance is not allowed.
Leftover Items
Any unclaimed items at the end of the event will be donated to a local charity.
Items will not be returned after the event.
