December 7th: The holiday luncheon
Details are in the link description below. We are short a few dozen cookies for our swap, so please sign up if making or buying cookies is a fun and easy way for you to contribute!
On Thursday, December 7th, the teachers and staff will be able to enjoy time away from their classroom to enjoy a sit-down, catered lunch provided by Teacher Appreciation Committee funds.
Holiday Luncheon
In keeping with Sternberger holiday luncheon tradition, teachers and staff will each draw for a gift card to a variety of their favorite places. In the past, we had Sternberger families donate gift cards in the amounts of $10-25. This year, to make it even easier, we are asking families to donate $10-$20 and the PTA will purchase enough gift cards so that each faculty and staff member will receive one.
We also recognize this is a fiscally taxing time of year for most of us, so please do what is best for your family. There are so many ways that you show support and it is greatly appreciated! If you would like to contribute, however, you can send funds to Caroline Duncan at Venmo @carolinesainduncan or scan the code on the gift box in the front office to donate.
Your child's teacher will also need classroom coverage for the luncheon that day, so please reach out to your child's room parent or teacher if you are able to help that day.
