Policy: Debit Card Purchase Requests
Purpose
To establish a clear and consistent procedure for Sternberger Elementary PTA debit card purchase requests, ensuring compliance with NCPTA bylaws and guidelines. This policy outlines the steps for requesting the use of a Sternberger Elementary PTA debit card.
Guidelines/Info
The Sternberger Elementary PTA has a debit card linked to our bank account that can be used by Standing Committee Chairs, Special Committee Chairs and school staff to purchase services or other items for use by the school or the Sternberger PTA.
Debit Card Purchase Requests
Standing Committee and Special Committee Chairpersons and school staff needing to request the use of the Sternberger Elementary PTA debit card must complete the PTA Debit Card Purchase Request Form.
The completed form must be submitted to the Treasurer via email or placed in the Treasurer’s box in the Sternberger Elementary School office no later than five (5) days prior to the requested date of the transaction(s).
The PTA Debit Card Purchase Request Form includes details about the requester, itemized expenses, the total amount of purchase(s) requested, and any other specific requirements and must be completed in full. Incomplete PTA Debit Card Purchase Request Forms will not be processed.
