HOOT is an initiative created by the Sternberger Specialist Teachers, designed to enhance the Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) of our students. HOOT stands for “Helping Ourselves and Others Thrive.” The mission of this initiative is to provide students with opportunities to cultivate skills and develop strategies to become well-rounded individuals who care for themselves and others.

Support the PTA and help build community during our first community night of the 2025-2026 school year. All you have to do is show up and eat or order food to go. Make sure they know you are with Sternberger and we'll get a portion of the proceeds.

Admission is $8 a person and includes skate rentals. The more people who participate, the more money that comes back to the PTA. Don't forget to stop by our table near the door to enter the FREE raffle.
Roller skating is more than just a recreational activity. The combination of physical exercise, the release of endorphins and the social interactions create a positive and uplifting experience. Do your body, your mind and your school a favor and join us for Skate Night!
