about
Field Day is a school organized event. The PTA helps out with volunteers and funding. Our Specialist Teachers have lots of fun games and activities planned for our students.
The HOOT theme for this event is teamwork - how World Changers collaborate and work together for group activities. HOOT also promotes the idea that healthy bodies encourage healthy minds. Feel free to wear your 2024-2025 green Owls on the Run shirt on this day to show school spirit.
Your child will need to wear proper shoes to run, jump, skip, hop, and gallop outside on the uneven ground.
A friendly reminder for ALL parents and caregivers – please send an extra change of clothes and shoes. Some of our activities involve water and students are usually soaking wet by the end of Field Day.
If you have more questions, please reach out to Mr. Coach Carroll

We need LOTS of volunteers!
INDIVIDUAL CLASSROOMS: You may have already heard from your classroom teacher(s) about volunteering. They will need 1-2 volunteers for each classroom to accompany student groups through our twenty-eight activity stations. If you are interested in helping your students’ classroom during their designated Field Day time slot, please reach out to your classroom teacher.
If you have volunteered to help a specific classroom, when you arrive on campus Friday, May 2, you will go to the front office to check in and then continue to the classroom you are assisting.
FIELD DAY STATIONS: We also need volunteers to run each of our twenty-eight activity stations during both the K-2nd grade and 3rd grade – 5th grade time slots. If you are interested in running an activity station during either or both times slot(s), please sign up here.
If you have volunteered to run a Field Day activity station, when you arrive on campus Friday, May 2, you will go directly to the open field behind school. Head to the tent near the trailers beside the media center to check in and get your station assignment.
attend
This is a family-friendly event – if you are interested and able, parents and caregivers are welcome to come and watch your student(s) for part or all of field day.
If you are joining us as a spectator, you can find us behind the school in the open field and basketball court area. Stop by the visitor check-in table when you arrive. Please come directly to the open field behind the school and do not enter through the school or check-in at the front office.
Remember, K - 2nd grade classes will participate from 8:30 am – 11:00 am and 3rd – 5th grade classes will participate from 11:15 am – 1:50 pm.
